Art quilts have been my go-to form of creative expression since 1996. In my work I focus on telling stories and on designing quilts with interactive elements and mathematical phenomena.

The viewer is invited not only to touch the works, but also to change them, to get involved, to create and discover something new. Changes are strongly linked to the theme of time kick-starting a series on time as well. In most recent years, I have been looking at change from a more conceptual angle. Especially the perspective on how mothers effect the future lives of their children an how this perspective can change has inspired my latest series “embarrassing mothers”. The most important goal, however, is that the pieces give pleasure and so I hope that you have a lot of fun browsing through these pages.
